You could get SIRT therapy: ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articl...

Ask ta. But it can't be that bad.

First get those scans and get multiple opinions from some large medical centers who have treated liver mets.

It's not that common. So you may need to look around for someone with substantial experience with this.

Let us know the results of histology and IHC.

What is IHC

Immunohistochemistry. It tells you what proteins it expresses. It might give you clues as to which clinical trials may be appropriate.

here is chat gpt says:

IHC stands for Immunohistochemistry. It's a diagnostic technique that uses antibodies to identify and locate specific proteins within cells of a tissue sample. In prostate cancer diagnosis, IHC plays a significant role in confirming the presence or absence of cancer, especially in difficult cases.

Here's how IHC aids in prostate cancer diagnosis:

Distinguishing cancerous from benign cells: Prostate cancer can sometimes mimic benign conditions like benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). IHC helps differentiate between the two by identifying specific protein markers present in cancerous cells but not in benign cells.

Confirming the absence of basal cells: Normally, a healthy prostate gland has a layer of basal cells surrounding the prostate cells. In prostate cancer, these basal cells are often missing. IHC can be used to confirm the absence of basal cells, a crucial indicator of prostate cancer.

Identifying aggressive tumors: Certain IHC markers can help identify aggressive prostate tumors that may require more intensive treatment.

Is there a CT correlate for the liver spots? If not, it could well be a false positive. I had this very thing happen to me a couple of years ago. Especially at that low of a PSA, I’d be suspicious.

We determined it as false positive by (1) there was no CT correlate, (2) after some months of ADT, my other mets got smaller in size, as expected, but (3) the liver met did not change size. In fact it has remained about the same size for a few years now, independent of on/off-cycles of ADT.
