astra-something buys a Canadian company because they hate Canadians...no, sorry...ok, I will sound like a financial advisor, but here it is:

Astra-something has been working on other approaches to develop more targeted cancer treatments, including antibody-drug conjugates and RCs.

"The deal has solid strategic logic, potentially allowing Astra to combine its existing antibody portfolio with radioconjugate payloads," J.P.Morgan wrote in a note.

Maybe this will put Actinium more at the forefront. If the side effects can be dealt with, this is a far superior radionuclide than Lu-177.

There is no way to avoid the side effects apart from reducing the dose. Therefore I recommend the Lu-177 and Ac225 combination treatment because the Ac225 dose is reduced then.

Yes, I know it's AstraZeneca...I have been advised not to mention big pharma companies in my posts in the past..let's keep it quiet! :-) ;-)

If you want to know where the breakthroughs and possible cures for PC are going to come from "follow the money." Collectively, big pharma is much more knowledgeable than any of us about what treatments may work or not work in buying these small biotechs. These large companies get a bad rap on this site because they're "greedy," their drugs cost too much etc. For me, they saved my life and I pray that their new efforts will keep alive a little longer.

Thanks for alerting us on this stuff, it's encouraging!
