Tallallen..I am 84 Canadian after too long delay referred to oncologist on basis cancerwas confined to prostate..shocked that petscan showed cancer in several lymph nodes… on abiraterone prdnesone for 4 months…working so far psa at 0 .28…I like the idea of Lutetium injections…would that be logical next step for me ?

No. If all your metastases are in pelvic lymph nodes, you can still possibly be cured by radiation+hormone therapy.

thanks actually not sure how cancer gottherebut major lymph node high up my back near my spine ..I asked RO to radiate it but he said it was too close to my spine…curious why Lutetium is not the answer?

Are you sure it was not a false positive? What was the SUVmax?

There are clinical trials for using Pluvicto earlier (before CRPC and chemo).

Aberaterone treatment looks to be forever so far with some side effects..latest lab results psa testosterone liver available in a few days

I meant, what is the SUVmax of the spot you described as a "major lymph node high up my back near my spine " The common iliac node is in the upper pelvis and definitely can be irradiated.

I went to Indian in 2022 three times for

Lu-177 with Dr. Sen. Finished 3rd infusion in October 2022. Dr. Sen is very knowledgeable and answers all your questions. I’m hoping Lu-177 treatments helped. I’ve been on continuous ADT and my PSA is currently 0.008 so not 100% sure what the Lu-177 has done and hopefully will find out when I stop ADT at some point in the future.

Sure - thing - I messaged you in a chat. At the time I went I converted to about $6,500 USD per infusion. No issues for me, another friend I made got dry mouth pretty bad. You can email Dr. Sen.

4 months…so far results good expect I will be on it till it stops working or side effect problems…to date side effects.. … BP jumps drops… headaches…results seem OK….psa 0.28…testosterone 0.2

Glad to know it is fine on you.We're you on ADT in Hormone Sensitive or did you use Abi, Enza etc and were mCRPC, and was your PSA stable or rising. What PSA?

latest results excellent both psa and T very low

My psa was never over 20 but the cancer is in my lymph nodes

Only issue is headaches and BP jumps and drops

I still not castration resistant…when that time comes hope to go on Pluvicto

She works with Prof. Dr. med. Matthias Eiber. They were quick to reply and re cost they wrote that it would be cca 13k eur. They also offered slot for LU therapy already the following week - so no waiting time-lines, but we had PSMA PET CT already done.
