I had SVT, cured by ablation last year, but over the 6 months of have both ADT and SVT I was not overly bothered.
I do think it would be a great question to put to your cardiologist
I ask because I'm currently just starting on AS, low risk intermediate pc diagnosis, but if the diagnosis progresses I may have adt, currently the oncologist says I don't need it if I opt for treatment, she wiuld go for sbrt, and would be reluctant to prescribe it due to enhanced cvd risk because of afib
I also have paroxysmal afib for the last 15 years. I was on ADT (firmagon) for 6 months and I was fine. No episodes of Afib while on it…
Had Afib prior to ADT moderately successful ablation currently well controlled with Multaq. No breakthrough Afib and I am two years in with Abiraterone and Lupron.
