I had a prostatectomy in 4/2009. In 3/2018 realized my PSA was .3. Underwent salvation radiation with no change. PSA tested every 3 months and has been climbing, except when I tried KETO diet. Attempts to locate using PET scans with Auxim have failed. On 4/5/23 a PET CT PSMA scan revealed cancer in lymph nodes in pelvis region.
i am 69 and play pickleball everyday. I have a multi- disciplinary meeting on 4/12/23. I don’t know what to expect, but think it might be IMRT and ADT.
I currently have a plan to drive across US in my RV fly to Europe and bike from Zurich to Amsterdam. Don’t know if treatment will prevent me from going out fatigue will squeeze all the jelly out of my jelly donut.

Takenca, I too am 69. Congrats on 14 yrs this month since Prostetechtomy. Not sure what your Team will recommend, but you were clearly smart to step up to PSMA PET Scan. I have read and heard on video from the PCRI Group that if lymph node invasion is restricted to pelvic region only that Cure is still a possibility for you. Listen closely, and let them know you are going for cure.
I am 2yr-5 mos on Lupron, Zytiga-5mg prednisone, and I am playing 5 sometimes 6x Pickleball per week. I would be a heck of a lot better with 800 ng/ml of Testosterone vs Zero.Zero T ! But I do not let fatigue control me. My play is always 3-4 hours. My Apple 8 watch says 2,000 cal +/- burned, 2,000 steps +/-, and max heart rate 145. So do not be fearful if 12 mos, or 18 mos, or 24 mos of ADT2 is your new direction. I am competitive with 3.5 players and can hang with 4.0 with a strong partner on the court. You will be Great. No fear. Best to you and yours, Mike
thank you very much for your encouraging words. My mixed partner and I have some tournaments coming up in October. I want to carry my weight. Really don’t want to be her doubles partner
you can hang in. Hydration has never been more important. I down a 44oz thermos every time. But, you still dont know your direction. If you look at my Bio, I guess you will quickly learn that you are better off than many of us.
Best of luck and skill at making good decisions here, Mike
Discuss having radiation to the prostsate fossa plus whole pelvis radiation with a boost to the positive lymph nodes and 3 years of ADT along with 2 years of Abiraterone. This is based in my understanding of the Stampede trial
