you in da right place buddy … Hollywood is you. Now we gotta get you one of dem stars on the walk of fame … right in front of the Grumman Chinese theater. That hike up to the sign is no easy walk, you are definitely in great shape.
As a matter of fact, the Rock n Roll San Diego marathon inaugural race was in 1998. Myself and about 80 others had done all 20 in a row and they placed these in the Convention floor where bib pick up was.A good friend grabbed mine for me💙
I paused and caught breath quite a few times going uphill
OMG ,….… of course you have a Star yayaya yayayayaya yayayayayayaya. Blowing my mind brother …. I’m afraid to mention an Olympic medal. Yayahahahaya yayahahahaya. Besides the regular participation medals that you prolly have two bushels of,…. you probably have an Olympic medal too. WOW … you are an amazing athlete buddy.
kewl awards for a lot of work buddy … a LOT of effort goes into those … not to mention the charitable side. All very commendable and it sets an example for the rest of us. .
Weather can’t go on like this much longer, dry season nearly here …. getting out anytime we want will become much easier . No messy matching a dry spot between storms and feeling well enough to go out. Gonna be much better…. easier to get out again whenever we want or are able. It’s all good.
Mahalo Bruddah Kal, I was about to head down to #8 IMRT and it had snowed, fortunately it hadn't iced up yet and made it down fine.AIS approved redoing Abiraterone with Dexamethasone
It failed in 2020, fingers crossed for better outcome this time
roger that big bruddha …. Man that’s good news. It might give you some more time. Dunno how much rechallenging will provide but I’ve read here , it almost always gives some more time ( months ? ) at the least and sometimes a lot of time ( couple of years or more ) All those rads and rechallenging … lots of positive things going on. Kewl buddy.
Soooooo …. a big blast of super bright light lit up the rear hallway ( the one with a door to the back deck ) , I scooted over on my chair and opened the door ….. the little girl next door was pointing up in the sky yelling …. ( wait for it ) …. I looked up …….. and it was actual bright sunshine. First time in what seems like weeks and weeks of rain. Bright, cheerful, beautiful sunshine. Alas it only lasted about 11 minutes , … but it was beautiful while it lasted. Yayahahahaya yayahahahaya. It’s cloudy again , now ….been that way for a while I guess.
Rain is finally relenting and clearing up. No more rain in the current future 7 day forecast. Gonna be chilly , mid 50s today but warming up to mid 60s or high 60s starting tomorrow. Mannnnnnnnn …. We sorely need this break buddy. No one living in the Central Valley is used to so much lack of sunshine. The “ rays “ are essential for our well being. Of course the impending disaster is at hand now and has already started. That historical snow pack up in the Sierras is melting and it has no place to go but down here. One of our closest BIG lakes ( for example ) which has 1.1 million acre feet of storage is nearly full … and 2.1 million additional acre feet are on the way down in its watershed. Same with Millerton, Lake Success and all of them.. potential real major flooding and disaster could be at hand if they don’t manage it right. Probably “ some “ loss of homes and trailers is inevitable , but hope they don’t lose control of it and it goes wild and does major damage . 1000s of “ BIG “ dollar homes are in the flow way and much property is at risk. The already risen from the dead Tulare Lake has damaged enormous farm property and housing and its projected to get many times larger than it’s current holdings ( it was once the 3rd biggest lake in the USA and the very biggest west of the Mississippi River ) it’s swallowing up farms and homes fast. Lots of ( mostly commercial ) farms already obliterated along with untold numbers of farm labor jobs and housing . We aren’t in the flood plain from Millerton, so I think we are safe … hoping the major disaster will be avoided here. Gonna be interesting, we’ve never seen water like this before.
pretty bizarre isn’t it ??? Boggles the mind, this isn’t Cleveland or something yayahahahaya. Herze a picture of the rain one night, this scene repeated dozens and dozens of times here. Sunshine and no more rain for a while here , there too probably. We’ve all had enough. Kripes yayahahahaya
You can see my lemon tree in a pot below and my mandarin orange tree above it. Both have fruit on them.
Flood water level of rain, just one night of dozens.
yea it’s so beautiful there, very lush … green to the gills.
This is low desert, without man artificially watering and planting here, it’d be sparse sagebrush, creosote and tumbleweeds . Bare land with rocks all over.
It is lush and green here, and we do feed 80% of the country’s veggies and 90% of the country’s wine ….. still it’s all “ manmade “ and synthesized…. Nothing lush plant wise , seen here, is natural. More Disney Land than mother nature yayahahahaya. When you reflect upon it, sometimes, it gets a little bizarre realizing what it all amounts to. Fortunately we have the thickly forested Sierra’s nearby that we can drive up into where Mother Nature properly exists and we can gain some equilibrium about our environment .
Being from Hawaii I was a bit surprised at the browness of the LA foliage. i took #1 son to East Coast for college and there was such beautiful tall lush Greenery out there😁
it seems like a world out of whack. Coastal cities were once the lushest greenest places for forever. Then everything changed , and like you said, even places like L.A. turned brown . The whole west coast turned brown along with most of the Central Valley. It’s easy to think climate change with “ all that “ going on. Maybe this water overload year will signal a return to green California again. Maybe everything will hold until we are gone, at least. I have my doubts that “ things “ will go back to the good old days tho. Dunno.
Lol, I rested on Saturday 😂The concert was rescheduled to Sunday, so I thought "where can I put miles in to train for that Make A Wish event. Hollyweird popped into my brain😅
6 years ago. 3 years before my dx I took the lazy route and drove as close as possible lol. One of my service trips to LA and brought wife. Took vacation time after the job was done to enjoy LA.
