A pharmaceutical company wants to discuss clinical trials with Black and African American men in the USA. If interested, please email me at darryl@malecare.org
Here's what's on offer:
Each advisory board would be conducted a single, 2-hour virtual meeting (early May 2023 timing – exact date/time TBD) and those who are eligible and participate would receive an honorarium as a thank you for their time. During the advisory boards, discussion will be focused on the unmet needs among the Black and African American Prostate Cancer communities, efforts to improve health outcomes among this patient population, issues related to health equity, perceptions of clinical trials for this condition, and participants will be asked to brainstorm ways to improve access, representation, and overall experiences in prostate cancer clinical trials. The goal of the project is not to recruit for a clinical trial, but rather to understand how to best create clinical trials that are accessible and representative of the prostate cancer community and its needs.
