Yes it's not easy on ADT that's for sure. I completed 2 years on LUPRON, had my last injection June'22 and I still have low energy levels! I do weight training and eat whole foods not fanatically but definitely no processed foods. I suspect my testosterone has not yet returned to normal levels but will not know for sure until my next blood test in April. Can I ask ,how are your bones and muscles doing as a result of your ADT treatment? Best wishes.

I do. I assumed it was my type 2 diabetes causing it. My blood sugar has been tough to keep in line since ADT.

You might ask your MO and/or PC doctor about metformin.

I had same problem with the high sugar. Started Ozempic at the .50mg per week and when I am good it keeps me around the 110/130 mark. The snoozing is gone from the 150/200 numbers. Stick your finger.

I’m was on Metformin and Victoza for type 2 until I lost 70# and it dropped into the high normal range but decided to shoot back up a couple years ago. My MO says Lupron can cause it. Gotta love Lupron 😩

I'd be interested in the LUPRON dosage others were /are on. I was on 22.5mg x 3 monthly for 2 years, now waiting for blood test to see how my PCa reacts.

I’ve been on 22.5 (3 month) injections since my 1st reoccurrence

All meals regardless of type of food or amount? How's your weight and exercise habits?

Yes, Lupron makes me tend to nap longer and sleep more in general. I can push past it, but I also give in to it somewhat. It's as much an energy thing as a sleep thing.

I'm doing Ginseng supplements for the drowsies. My MO was not against it. Natures Bounty Ginseng Complex (because it is ubiquitously available and not a particularly high dose.) Two capsules with breakfast (I came to that dose by experimentation) and not for more than two consecutive days at a go. Caffeine did not touch the drowsies I was getting. There are higher dose forms of Ginseng that have an even greater effect if you want more bang per capsule.

I have been taking Lupron and Apalutamide for three years but haven’t noticed any particular fatigue after meals. I do eat a healthy diet and exercise daily and am tired by night but it doesn’t seem to have any relation to my food intake.
