I know that at least one other man on here gets their oncology treatment/care at MUSC. I just can't remember who there are. I'd like to discuss a few things with you, if you go to MUSC oncology.
thanks,
George

I am in Australia and I would like to start a post like you. I am just wandering. Could be very useful.
if you input MUSC into the search, it appears you will find him. You can then message him.
Hey there George, I spent the first six months of 20022 on a clinical trial with Dr. Michael Lilly at MUSC. The staff, lab and scans were impressive, however, Dr. Lilly retired. I understand Dr. Gordine assumed his patients at the Hollins Cancer Center. PSA continues to rise. I have not been able to get a consult to him yet... I failed to respond to the clinical trial, Zytiga failed, after three-months Xtandi failed, pain in hips and back keep me from standing so my local oncologist referred to the local radiation oncologist. Except for neuropathy in feet and PSA doubling monthly doing better. I start docetaxyl next week. Not sure where that will take me since oncologist of 10 years and urologist of 13 years are moving. Replacements arrive in July 2023.
More than a bit discouraged living in the prostate hot spot of the US with so few options. Fortunately I am a non smoker, tea total, exercise, trim, eat healthy and married to an RN.
Sorry to be so pessimistic, but feel like my ship is loosing crew while taking on heavy water.
