Undetectable

That’s what I am

Undetectable

Now 5 years in.

Like a song I love

That sings to me

How the thought of it

Does things to me

Several times before

Has someone been more

Undetectable

In every way

Hopefully, forever more

That’s how we’ll stay

That’s why friends

It’s incredible

That some of you are undetectable

And that I am

Undetectable too

Happy 5 years to me and wishing all a healthy New Year!

As another undetectable I'm grateful that has continued since my RP in 2011, especially grateful to the medical people who have patched me up and kept me going after a variety of problems (two cancers, two new knees and a broken leg, 4 eye surgeries, and some others....). Some of it hasn't been fun, and the RP left its damage as it does for many of us. But my quality of life is pretty damn good, and I consider myself extremely fortunate.

Sounds like you've been through the spin cycle. Even after all of that your attitiude is impressive. Keep up the great work

Mahalo, not much of a runner, but so Blessed to still be upright and able to just get out and hit the pavement. Still enjoy doing dentistry, esp when I see long term pts, some over 20 yrs with Crazy ol me :-), that lifts my mood. Esp when those two lil girls hugged me last month 💙

Had Beers with a Mom, Dad, and kiddo all long term pts

Floss On

Your post made me smile (though my heart was aching). Thanks for reminding us that in spite of PC that life is still worthwhile

Wonderful news from another of the "undetectables" after almost 3 years. Yet deep in the back of my brain in those very occasional dark moments, I wonder when....

in reply to Hailwood

when? Put that in he back of the shed .. . I’m thinking end stage won’t get me , probably the heart, but anything besides the dreaded pc would be better in my book

it’s right in the corner of the shed behind a 1957 BSA Dandy and 2 Moto Guzzis😃😃😃😄

Go big 5!A major marker imho ! May you get ten more in good shape ! 👍🍀

also 5 years in

your re-write lyrics are great - I also like to re-lyric songs - some are COMPLETELY inappropriate on many levels but they make friends laugh

keep being clever

Very nice. I'm far behind you. I've only been undetectable for 6 months. Hoping to stay that way.

Thought I'd share a picture of me at the top of the Manitou incline as we discussed in the message since that system doesn't let you attach photos!

At the top, Manitou incline!

I do appreciate your story! I'm 2 years on Lupron, only hot flashes for AEs. PSA undetectable ever since. Prostate removed when detected at Mayo. Only 1 met on pelvis near where tumor was on prostate. So I guess I'm looking for men like yourself who have had vacations with good results. Thank you for posting yours!
