Hi,

Is anyone familiar with Medicare coverage for second PSMA?

Medicare paid for the first one done in 2021…this would be my second one.

Thanks, Bill

I already had 4 in the last 18 months and they have paid for the studies.

Most places will not proceed with the studies unless they get approval from Medicare, which takes between 3 and 5 days. Medicare Advantage plans may be different. I have regular Medicare parts A and B.

Originally I had it done at MSK in NYC due to a BCR via biopsy and MRI…

Hoping i can find a location for a PSMA in Upstate NY…
