Has anyone on this forum had focal Laser Ablation for prostate cancer who can tell about how it worked for them and the side effects it produced?

It is too late to use FLA on your advanced and castration-resistant prostate cancer (judging by your profile). Your best strategy now is to get a bone scan/CT and manage it with chemo and advanced hormone therapy.

Yes my husband has had that. He is stage 4. We sought multiple medical opinions that agreed ablation for his low volume was preferable over systemic treatment, due to multiple factors. He did fine - missed one day of work due to the procedure. Zero side effects from the sbrt. From the cryo ablation he had very slight soreness. Feel free to message me for more specifics. Don't do it! I did and not only wasted a lot of $$ but my Urologist promised me he would keep it from going metastatic if it came back and sure enough, he eff-ed up and now I'm metastatic stage 4 and on ADT until I either die or some new treatment comes along.
