I spent 2 hours at the gym each day I had radiation.

I've not had RT yet but have stage 4 with multiple distant mets and on ADT. I would totally concur with T_A - regular weight training is vital to keep ahead of the beast. I got myself a home total gym plus exercise bike and use them at least 4 times a week. It's tough but really pays off.

Hey chickgreen . I did 8 wks imrt . I was always dizzzy and nauseous . I was on Lupron and another adt that also drove nausea .. Ginger ale or ginger tea can help . For me Thc in high doses helped me be able to eat and helped nausea and dizziness too . Good luck 💪

Thanks - I've found some relief in CBD - I find the THC of today (as opposed to the 70s) is far to strong for me.

I never had dizzines when having radiation. Abdominal discomfort and some nausea and fatigue were the main symtomps. If you have dizzines check your blood pressure, perhaps the stress of the disease and the procedures elevates your blood pressure.

Thanks - I do suffer from hypertension, and take losartan daily. I monitor my BP, and it was scary high this morning.

Consult with your doctor they could add other meds, such as calcium channel blockers, or thiazide diuretics, HCTZ or a beta blockers such as carvedilol which also dilates the arterioles.

Thanks again - I'm in the process of writing to several of my doctors (because modern medicine requires using email instead of anything else) and will be specifically talking with the cardiologist and the radiologist...

I had dizziness that may have been caused by the adt. My blood pressure would drop when I stood up. After stopping adt no issues.

I had bouts of dizziness following 20 sessions of IMRT ended about 3 weeks after completion of radiation.
