I had adjuvant radiation to my prostate bed after my RARP. My URO allowed me to continue pelvic floor physical therapy, with its kegels, during and after RT. Even went for a second round of PT when my post radiation incontinence wasn't resolving quickly.

Thanks for the reply! I asked my RO this morning and he said it was fine as well. Harlow

Yes, do them. They help greatly in keeping your watertight integrity.

I would do them, it is a great strengthening exercise for that area.

The best advice my doc gave me was to start Kegel exercises long prior to my RP. Great advice.

I am currently undergoing salvage radiation treatment. I have continued my exercise program including Kegel, resistance and heavy cardio. I started my exercise routine when I started ADT in February. I am doing well with minimal side effects from the radiation.

Good question. I would keep doing them because it strengthens the pelvic floor. the organs that are supported by the pelvic floor are the bladder, uterus (for women) and bowel 🌹

I am and will continue to do them! 😊 Harlow
