I have a problem in the testicular area (my right side). It has bothered me at different times post RP. There is a soft sack at the top of the testicle, dull pain, tender and redness in the scrotum, the frequent need to urinate, discomfort in the lower abdomen. A Testicular ultrasound found only some calcification. My Urologist examined me and and said maybe it can be caused by the surgery? Could it be Chronic epididymitis? Could an infection alter my PSA slightly post RP? Back to the Doctor next week!

Testicular problems after a Prostatectomy?
Hey HarGreg! I can relate . I did imrt w/Lupron and another adt for two yrs . My boys were castrated chemically , shrunken and painful . I said” off with the juevos “! And did so in 2017 . No more T . No more worries about the family jewels . For me it was the best move .Many men’s egos won’t let them even think about it . An orchiectomy takes %85 of the T away for good . Good luck!
Only thing wrong about my Orchi was my urologist mentioned false balls but didn't mention scrotum reduction surgery. My hanging empty bag gets stuck to my legs like a fruit roll-up. Have to powder all the time... Great John mentioned to me he had that addition to his surgery and was happy about it. Wish I had.... Glad to be rid of the 2 jelly beans in my sack and there painful reminders that they were still there...
It’s one hec of a thing to contemplate! Mine shrank up pretty good prior to the orch . Although I thought 8 had big balls in life , not figuratively . Now it’s all about mini me! Keep driving that train, Casey Jones . My best to the family! 🙏❤️
