how was admitted last night to deal with his fever.
He has double-pneumonia and an infection in his elbow that’s going to keep him in for a few days of IV antibiotics.
I shudder to think what I might be posting if you folks on this site hadn’t guided me to take him to the ER.

Glad to hear you went and sorry you had to go through this.
Someone should have explained this to you before starting chemotherapy. Any sustained fever over 100.4 means a trip to the ER. At least you know now.
