I'm on Firmagon and have developed some pain and stiffness in my hips & knees. Could this be a side effect of Firmagon? Does anyone have any experience with a supplent called "Relief Factor" which is heavily advertised on TV? I'm not sure if it's a scam or not but I'd try it if I knew it was effective.

Hip & Knee Pain
Thanks. That's what I thought. Is it safe to take 800 mg (four tablets) in the morning and four more at night?
I too had hip, knee and every other joint pain. But now I’ve taken protocol, Glucosamine , chondroiten with msm for last six months resulting in a cut in joint pains by 70%. 🍀✌️
Hi epfj 4x 3 - I started Firmagon March 20 & amongst the SEs I have experienced hip and shoulder joint pain, especially at night-I try to stay active but also like Lulu700 take Glucosamine. Still get pain but think it helps. I checked with my oncologist & he was happy with me taking with Firmagon / Xtandi combo. Good luck my friend
I was on Firmagon until I switched to Orgovyx 10 months ago. I have had various joint pain on both. Ibuprofen usually takes care of it. When it gets more intense, adding Tramadol to the Ibuprofen does the trick. I also started using Collagen Peptides every morning. That has lessened the pain and stiffness. And of course staying active helps.
Really appreciate this question. My first thought is my PC is spreading.
I am having similar aches after 2-3mo of Firmagon. Other than that and some hot flashes feel OK. My pain is tolerable so far but have taken Aleve occasionally for sleep comfort.
How much do you exercise and what kind?
Golf three days a week, 30 minutes cardio and then weights on the other four days. I've had one hip replacement but I seem to be much stiffer and more aches & pains since starting Firmagon about 8 months ago. Maybe it's just old age.
Old age. What is that?😀
Any known arthritis other than the hip? I have a THR also. ADT is a age accelerator in every way unfortunately as you may know.
Yoga and massage help. Pilates can help. You need to work the legs in consistently when you lift. It’s way more important than upper body. Do you ? A lot of old guys miss it there.
In addition to your supplements of choice of course.
I haven't done much leg work because my knees started hurting. Also I have a fused right foot so it won't bend. I'm sure I can do something however limited.
I've got water on the knee and beer in the joint...............
Good Luck, Good Health and Good Humor.
