I'm so terribly sorry. This disease is a beast and it takes too many people we love. I think the early days of loss are hardest - it does get easier with time. Never easy, but easier. A nasty disease that IMO hasn't had a lot of success in curing/controlling for the last 80 years! We are still treating it in much the same way as back then...surgery, radiation, and ADT. My grandfather was treated pretty much the same way back in the 50s.

It is always sad to read about one of us passing, but the sad news is so important, because every one of us is important. We all make a contribution of some sort to Malecare, here on HU.

The loss will always be with you but the memories of the love and life shared will also be there. Life is a bittersweet experience. At times it seems like a bad bargain but I wouldn't give up the best part of the bargain to avoid the worst part of the bargain.
