Was given oxybutynin (ditropan XL) by Mayo.... worked for me.
Thank you for response d to my post. How long you had to take oxybutynin?
I recently experienced them after a catheter removal post robotic removal of prostate. They prescribed oxybutynin. It helped after a couple of days. Very painful and pain meds could not relieve it.
I used Trospium for about a year while I was using a catheter, naples2021
It worked very well for keeping bladder spasms under control.
I was finally able to have a TURP to get rid to the catheter this past October.
Life is much better without the catheter.
