I thought that I would share the results of my blood draw yesterday. PSA continues at <0.1 and T is at 381.0.
I entered the war on May 8, 2004 with a PSA of 32.3 with mets to L2 & T3 of my spine. Through the grace of God, the power of Prayer, and a world class medical oncologist/researcher/professor and his clinical trial, after over 17 years, I continue to log in great reports.

That's encouraging. So you were in Advanced stage when diagnosed, and you're still responsive to the therapy. That is wonderful news to those of us relative " newbies" ( stage 4 diagnosed May 2019 PSA 629, Gleason 9, bone and lung mets started ADT with Zytiga Immediately PSA currently .28 & still falling. I sure hope and pray to be posting here for another 10+ years.

You had chemo and ADT as primary treatment, correct.? I looked at several of your posts, but can't find any mention of the name of the chemo? Sorry if I missed it. Congrats and continued success!
Are we agnostics doomed?
Each course of chemotherapy lasts for 8 weeks. Patients were treated in weeks 1, 3, and 5 with doxorubicin 20 mg/m2 as a 24-hour intravenous infusion on the first day of every week in combination with ketoconazole 400 mg orally 3 times a day daily for 7 days. In weeks 2, 4, and 6, treatment consisted of paclitaxel 100 mg/m2 intravenously on the first day of every week in combination with estramustine 280 mg orally 3 times a day for 7 days. 30 mg of Prednisone everyday through the three courses of chemotherapy.

I have prayed about this daily and maintain a<.01 PSA since treatment began. Looking forward to ending Lupron next month. Never underestimate the power of prayer

Great news - I started this battle in 2002 - PSA is slightly rising to 0.5 after chemo.What trial were you in??? What are you taking now?

Tom, my last injection of Lupron was February 2010. I have posted previously on the Chemotherapy and Hormone Therapy trial. If you can’t find it let me know.
