Make sure he doesn’t have a uti!!
Yes.I had the same problem . Apparently it's due to a general muscle weakness from the chemo.
After the chemo (6 x docetaxel) I became dry again, so don't worry

I had the problem and went to a special physical therapist who gave taught me several different kinds of Kegel exercises to strengthen the pelvic floor which are used to control urinating and thus ability to hold urine and have larger volumes. This therapist had a device that measured the amount of strength of the pelvic floor muscles and designed the Kegel that added strength to that muscle. Once that muscle was stronger, about a week of exercises, she would add to that exercise another until all the pelvic floor muscles strengths were balanced and then I was done. Today is I have any leakage when lifting or problems holding I just go back to the full range of exercise for a week and that takes care of the problem. I had my prostate removed so do not have the sphincter at the bladder. My friend who had a sever problem had an artificial sphincter put in which works very well also.
