The US military is testing NAD+ (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide) as a possible life extending, performance enhancing supplement. NAD+ is associated with turning food into energy, and levels in the body decline with age. A commercially available supplement, Niagen, related to Vitamin B-3, is an alleged precursor of NAD+. Is there any reason any of you know of why not to try Niagen to see if it boosts energy?
