Just got back the blood test results...PSA rose marginally from 3.92 to 4.08...CEA has also increased from 8.8 to 12.3. The rest of the kidney, liver, blood count was normal. The oncologist was not concern about the rise of both the CEA and PSA...and the Radiologist also agreed with it. Will proceed to the second infusion of LU -177 on the third week of July. Physically I am well.. I still, continue my daily walk of at least 10K steps/day as well as started trice weekly weight-bearing exercises too.
Any comments and suggestions most welcome.

RBC is at 4.56 similar to what it was 2 months ago...WBC is at 8.69 vs 8.38 ( April ) and all the rest of the blood data are within range.
May I ask where are you receiving treatment? In USA? I am searching for this new treatment for my husband desperately needs. We can't afford to fly to Germany for treatment.I wish you the best in your treatments
You question is a good one. What can we do along with Lu-177 treatments to support maximal effectiveness? Are you on ADT? I presume so since you are metastatic and in the USA also mCRPC. Though abroad they also treat mHSPC (wisely!). Short term adjuvant ADT improves the effectiveness of RT if you are not already on it. Stay the course!
There were the usual fatigue and dry mouth. My latest blood test showed normal function for all the major organs. Two days after treatment, started to do my usual walk and trice a week weight-bearing exercise.
I did not apply ice during the infusion. The dry mouth will likely stay for a while. Did the blood test about 2.5 weeks after my first infusion. ..Will keep you updated
