My father (who is on ADT vacation since January, Gleason 9) test results got back. I have been so nervous about this that I have almost thrown up maybe twenty times. Could not sleep this night worrying.
I’m sorry for the Swedish measures.
Thankful for any insights.

Most of us will be tested tri-monthly until our end. The PSA testing anxiety goes with the turf. Time to take a deep breath with gratitude he’s doing well. ❤️
No I was worried before the test, sorry for the confusion! Now I’m just unsure if the results are good since my father’s doctor havn’t had the time to telephone him and I was wondering if anyone here could see anything standing out.
Interesting, I started ADT vacation this last November, 6th, 2020 because of my amazing response to treatment. Diagnosed with extensive pelvic area metastasis, PSA 1000+, symptoms of burning like pain when urinating. The scans could not recognize a pelvic, it looked like scramble eggs, tumors overloaded the area.
Then, initial Lupron injection and daily Zytiga in just a few months restored all, PSA undetectable (<0.02 0 06/06/19) and pelvic scans reviewed massive necrosis! Consequently, my pelvis area looked much better, albeit with scar tissue.
Current: June, 25th, 2021 test results: PSA 0.18 ng/mL, ALKALINE PHOSPHATASE 70 U/L, AST 40 U/L and ALT 64 U/L.
I’m so sorry you’re going through so much anxiety. Test days are really hard; scan days are even worse. I find an old Doris Day song comforting at times like this...
Que sera, seraWhatever will be, will be
The future's not ours to see
Que sera, sera
What will be, will be
Congratulations on your Dad’s normal test results!
I totally sympathize with anxiety over PSA tests, especially since the treatment (ADT) is such a miserable experience for me. I have troubling sleeping the night before the results some in.
Hope your dad a) tolerates it better, and b) never needs it again.
