Access to research articles?

Can anyone share some way to access articles like this...some way other than $36 for the PDF?

Relevant for men deciding on treatment. Thanks for any and all suggestions> once in a while , I have been successful in finding a complete article by EXTENSIVE Googling or Google Scholar...but more often a dead end.

When you look at your question on the HealthUnlocked page for Advanced Prostate Cancer the link to what you want is there - always. Just look to the right hand side of the page and there's a list of pinned posts. If's the 4th item. (On a phone the pinned posts display way down at the bottom of the page.) Here's the link.

Thanks, but the link you provided goes to a page that has 2 more links to use...but neither seems to be working...maybe hijacked? Try it and see if it works for you?

Thanks...that was quick. You must be on East Coast, or same weird hours as me? I don't think just putting the article link in the address bar at top will work....same result as trying to find free access using Google. I agree with author,,,,why must we pay when taxpayers already paying for most of research directly? I have found that sometimes Google scholar helps find free access to article....but also lots of dead ends!!

Sci-Hub frequently changes the URL ending. Currently these three seem to work, according to Wikipedia:

sci-hub.do

sci-hub.st

sci-hub.se

If you look at the author list and find the corresponding author, the one that replies to emails, and then write to them, explaining your situation and requesting a copy of the pdf they will often send you one, it has worked for me every time.
