Yes my friend I’ve got same gene but at my stage I’m going for quality of life Vs painful quantity-so no androgen deprivation meds since March 2020.

I’m trying palliative radiation on the big spots in my spine and pelvis. Also all these therapies:

Hyperbaric oxygen treatment, accupunture, medical grade cannabis(T20:C5), high does pain meds, including liquid morphine, plant based diet, black seed oil topically, turmeric juicing and moringa smoothie.

Lots of fresh air, sun and walking in the local park when I have the strength. Even laying on the grass helps.

My cancer cachexia has slowed down since April changes but PSA increased as follows:

13 April

42 September

110 November

394 February

652 March

Hoping things improve with all the treatment and lifestyle changes made in April.

Hope you find this useful.

Bad day for my husband today his first round of chemo was Tuesday. !!! He had a temp, very weak, stomach issue with not being able to pass gas. He looked awful. Looks somewhat better this evening. Such an emotional rollercoaster ride. How are you?

Hi 👋🏽 apologies for the delay in responding I’ve been back and forth in hospitals with severe nerve pain that was misdiagnosed as jaw infection which ended up contracting hospital acquired pneumonia 🙄

I’ve had 5 antibiotics and cocktail of pain meds over 4 weeks.

My mind is all over the place. Don’t feel like I have control of my body at times.

Ended up slipping in the bath trying to get out.

Then a couple of weeks later I fell on my wife while I was trying to get out of bed.

These meds have too many undisclosed side effects especially when combined.

Hope your husband is coping well.

Thanks for your concern.

My bf wanted to go to Germany. At this point his Onco is saying that he can only offer Keytruda. He has not responded to chemo or radiation. I have seen a big change in the last 3 days. I know he will not be able to travel since he is in so much pain. I recommended going back to his Onco x pain management, since he does not want Keytruda and he does not have a PCP in town. Currently all ERs in SA are full of COVID patients and some minor ER clinics are being used to hold COVID patients. I hope he can see his Onco this week. Thanks for asking.

I’m so sorry it’s so difficult to see. I wish he would give the Keytruda a try he might respond. What type of chemo did he have?
