Drs name?

Hello , Someone had mentioned Dr. Tawaga at Cornell Weill in N.Y.. Did you see him or get treated with LU-177. That is the Dr my husband was suppose to get treated by this Nov 2020 and the trial was put on hold due to covid. He can not wait till it is available/ opened again so that is why im seeking info on Germany.. It was suggested to my husband for him to look into this by his current Dr due to his situation and progression .We have contacted Book health , but they seem pricey. Thanks and sorry couldn't remember the username /post i was reading. I have read quite a few..

I saw him 3 weeks ago to discuss their PSMA trials at Weill Cornell in NY. He told me they had no available slots in their trials at that time. Didn't know when it might open up again. Very disappointed. I felt they should have told me before making this unnecessary appointment .

Sorry to hear you had this happen . The same thing happen to my husband. He went up to NY from VA met with Dr had bloodwork and necessary preps and scans (again ins not liking this). The Dr said would be some time Nov will call with date. We never received a call so we phoned them. His nurse called back and said the trial is not available. I ask why she said due to co-vid and funding and they are not sure when it will be back. I was not pleased needless to say at all the inconvenience only to find out it was for nothing. My husband Dr suggested we go to Germany and not wait due to the advancement of my husband condition and no standard treatment left that is effective. Stay strong , hopeful and good luck in your journey.
