So my PSA has been rising and I should be getting some new medicine from the Doctor on the 12th.
Normally you wouldn't start off a story with a preface like this but WE STAGE FOUR BABY! WOOT WOOT! haha
Anyway I'm living with mom until I get back on my feet and I told her I'm cautious about some aches and pains that I have because I don't know if it's the bone mets or if it's because I'm way overweight.
Last night she asked me if I was okay. She's across the hall from me. I told her I was and asked her why. She said she's hearing me grunt and groan and was worried about me.
I told her I was complaining about how bad I was doing playing UNO on my phone haha. Some of those people are real bastards haha.
It's hard not to worry about someone in the club we're in but it still has it's moments of humor.
Enjoy your weekend guys!

Rite on brother Matt .... if you have enough mets, they have probably deformed and / or eaten away a bit of your bone joints ... it’s pretty common, we can just kinda learn to shine those on ... maybe with mild pain killers like Vicodin’s if need be. If you get the stabbing little beauties that kinda cause you to inadvertently cry out briefly or hop around .... now and then , maybe a little heavier med like dilaudid may be needed , now and then or whenever necessary.
We all need a sense of humor here on the group and in our personal lives as well. Yea we’re all croakers ...but ... right here , right now we are maintaining and that’s something to appreciate and smile about. Dang life is good, and we’ve still got plenty to enjoy.
On the group , the doom and gloom can get pretty heavy and thick sometimes, some of us like to interject goofy, funny and or ridiculous ( or slightly insulting , all in fun ) elements to the conversational flow to break the negativity.... don’t be shy ... jump in wherever and whenever. It’s all good. Up beat is WAY better than beat down , anytime.
Just say’in 💪💪💪🌸🦋🌈🌼🌻🌵🌵🎃👻🎃👻❤️❤️❤️
If you are on adt, that muscle stiffness and loss that loss of T brings can cause a LOT of grunts and groans yayahahahaya
I did have annoying pain in my shins after everything was finished after my first diagnosis and the pain eventually went away. I figured out it was from my high fat diet and the food I ate had plenty of calcium in it. Calcium is fat soluble so the calcium helped heal up my shins.
I've lost lots of muscle, but haven't lost all (any) weight that should have gone along with it. Just maintaining some times seems hard. Yes, every new ache and pain makes us all wonder what is next. I've had enough injuries over the years, most recently third degree burns over 10% of my body and skin grafts, to give me something else to blame them on. Mild pain relievers have been my friends for years, just a little more often now. Best of luck getting back on your feet and coping with pain, weight, and peace of mind.
It's funny I don't think I lost any muscle at all. The only thing I've experienced from getting testosterone shut down is the obvious mood swings we get, although I've always said mental pain is worse than any cuts, bumps or bruises we could ever get. Everything else has been normal.
Hey shooter . I want to tell you that the lopper with a ratchet works like a charm . It gives me 100% more power in the cut with no extra effort . My elbows was in pain from the regular old lopper .. peace to you friend . 🇺🇸
Hey FinalBoss...here is some unsolicited good advice. Rather than playing ONO on your phone...you should be walking or playing soccer. You say you are way overweight...then its so important that you get rid of that extra fat pads..if you want to live longer . It has been proven that PCa guys who have and maintain BMI at 24 or lower live longer and better. ADT increases risk of heart attacks and bone fractures too.
Its just a friendly advice and is not intended to hurt your feelings.
I know I already do all that because I'm fed up being this big. I'm putting a lot of focus on laying off carbs and letting my body use my own fat as energy. No harm.
I'm more offended you did not spell Uno correctly. ;-P
