Well, it’s Oct 5, and now getting ready for the third Lupron shot in a few weeks. I started lifting weights and rowing. The nurse asked if I was flexing my bicep. I said no, it’s the weights. I recommend a rowing machine. Excellent!

I hike in the woods 3 miles each morning. Play golf twice a week, walking. When the weather turns, I may have to consider something like this.

Rowing is great cardio and will certainly maintain your energy level and muscle tone. The only drawback is that it is not weight bearing exercise to keep up bone density which will be challenged by Lupron. Make sure you continue weight training, especially lower body. And consider throwing walking into the mix. The variety is good. Keep up the good work.

I have been walking or hiking in the morning for a long time. Picked up a slightly used Nordic Track rower. I like the low impact workout. I found this rower, Dark Horse on line. Good training videos. Thanks for the suggestion.
