A superhero till the end

He said he kept it a secret he never wanted the kids to see any weakness in Black Panther

I remember watching the wonderful movie Black Panther and, as an old white guy, imagining what it must be like for a young black kid to sit in the theatre living the story and having his chest rise with pride and hope. One thing that keeps me fighting the PCa monster is hoping the current awareness of injustice will result in real change. Sorry if my first post sounds political, but the point is, I'm finding that staying engaged with the world takes my mind off myself.

Giving of my time and self takes my mind off my issues

There are many in this group worse off than we are and they are the real superheroes

They make me laugh they lift my spirits I cant believe the power and guts of these guys

If they can do it

So can we

I love my life I will do whatever it takes to keep going

Only 43. What a terrible thing to happen to a young man 🙏🙏🙏

in reply to larry_dammit

He looked strong and very fit too as well as being young. That was the shocker.

In the end it took its toll

But not untill he finished his project

Black Panther

While he was undergoing chemo and surgery he was filming Black Panther

He spent his days visiting kids with cancer giving them hope

What a man

Cancer has taken some wonderfull people away from me

I pray they find a cure maybe not in my time but they will some day

We need to get the word out that men need to get their annual physicals and get screened for prostate cancer. Too many don't get screened and are diagnosed when the disease is advanced.

What a tragic loss - he gave so much and had more to give.

A true role model and hero for many ....

What an amazing human being, gone way too early, but with a lasting legacy. RIP, King Chad.

How tragic. I don't watch many of the comic book hero movies, but I did see Black Panther. Sometimes we forget that we aren't the only cancer. And yes, whenever I see 43 years of age I have survivor's guilt.

Way too young

A brilliant actor and a superhero to all those kids who believe kf they work hard they can achieve anything regardless of ethnicity religion or colour

He seemed like a good soul, I wish his peace and that it is where he hoped he would be. Also, comfort for those he left behind.
