For those that have been tested and a mutation was detected, how was it found - through liquid bx or tumor bx, and if the latter, soft tissue or bone?
Thanks in advance.

My father’s test is not back, I’ll get back to you!
Mine was same as Nal.
How about those with metastatic disease? Were your somatic mutations discovered via liquid bx or a bx of a tumor (bone or node)?
Liquid.
Is one type of testing better than another? Liquid vs Needle? Is it correct thinking that liquid would give you a broader spectrum of results than a single needle biopsy?
So my brother just went in for a bone met biopsy on Monday. Waiting for results. Got 4 core samples. They said if they couldn’t get a good sample they would do a liquid biopsy. We’re had to push the dr to do this. If we didn’t come to this forum we would have no idea what to ask for. We would receive SOC until he was in Hospice.
What bone did they biopsy? Which genomics lab did they send it to? Will a liquid biopsy go to the same lab? Could you please keep us informed of the results? Thank you so much.
