Group member Urang has been chasing a lot of bone met pain locations for some time. He recently received radiation for one on his spine that left him without the use of his legs for a while. He is using them again now. Urang has been “ post treatment “ for a couple of years having experienced nearly every treatment available for the last 22+ years. He keeps on trucking and seems to be doing amazingly well considering.

I had never heard of the Sm-153-edt p treatment and I wondered if someone has had it and could say more about it ?

Thanks brothers 💪💪💪

Is he in the US? In the US, it has been largely replaced by Xofigo. Xofigo (Radium 223) is a more powerful alpha particle emitter that also exends survival, whereas Sm-153 is a weaker beta-particle emitter. It seems to be very safe. Here are some references from my files:

Great info TA thanks mucho. I’d probably not heard of it because treatments have moved on past it now. Urang has been under the care of the V.A. For Well over 22 years. Not sure why they used that.... maybe it’s more gentle or something. poor Urang has taken a beating. He has to be a poster child for PCa survival. He is proof positive that even after PCa has ravaged your body in every possibly way for over two decades, and all treatments are long past, that you can “ still “ hang on for years afterwards. He lives in Missouri.

Thank you
