Ac 225 and affordability

Doctor has advised my father to undergo treatment with Ac 225 as he thinks Lu 177 won't contain the disease for long. However, the cost of Ac treatment is so high(Rs.4,50,000 per cycle) that we cannot afford even a single cycle for it.

My father does not have any health insurance. Is there any way to get it at an affordable price? We stay in India.

Any ideas would be of great help.☺

Before you spend a lot of money on a therapy that may do nothing for him, he should have both a PSMA PET scan and an FDG PET scan.

He has already had psma scan and there are psma avid metastases

Good. That's half the info you need. The other part is supplied by an FDG PET scan.

Have you tried the Patient Access Network? They provide cost relief if you qualify. His doctor would be the one to contact them. If he/she won't, look them on the web and call yourself.

450,000 Rupees = $5,967.47 if I did the conversion correctly. That's a lot of Roti in any language.... I wish you all good Kismet....
