Yep, good news fda.gov/drugs/fda-grants-ac...
It means that there's another tool in the collection to use in order to extend one' life. Overall response duration from different source 6-12 months. Then cancer adapts, resistance develops, and drug stops working as with many other drugs.
And it's applicable if you have failed previous SOC therapies and have metastatic castrate-resistant PCa and if you have BRCA1/2 mutation.

Hey Nalakrats could you please include me thanks. I was on a trial which combined Rucaparib and Nivolumab, it was determined that I have a brca2 somatic mutation from a liver biopsy sample. I had probably a maximum 6 month benefit from the trial before it stopping working for me. Would in your opinion treatment with another Parp inhibitor such as Olaparib still be a choice ?
