Search health unlocked for “ Zometa kaliber “ ... I got about 44 pages of them. I checked a few , like page two and the one about jaw pain. I’m all over them . I never realized how prolific I’ve been ....yayahahahaya. Wow.
Sorry about your dad , sounds like you were close.
( nothing rude or smart a$$ inserted here out of reverence)

Thanks. 2nd time. Will do Tylenol
I have met a few men in Support Groups who also did not tolerate initial Zometa particularly well. Most of them switched over to Xgeva (denosumab) in dosages suitable for their bone mets. You can ask your doctor about your options.
My first and only Zometa infusion was December 2019... it did not go well. I can only describe the side effects as frightening. Later I found out that both my sister and a neighbor were prescribed Dexamethasone at least one day prior to the infusion as a prophylactic to reduce side effects.
Theirs were minimal in both severity and duration... discuss with your doctor.
Hope this helps.
Be sure to hydrate, it helps. For some reason my se's kick in two days later.
Start taking acetominofen 500 mg 3 times a day one day before the infusion and you will feel much better.
I am having my first Zometa on my next round. Am I going to need premeds? I've seen references from acetominofen to dexamethasone. I haven't had any instructions, yet, about anything like that. Are premeds typical?
