Good suggestion.

They are not. That’s from UCLA Nuclear Medicine Department.

I can't imagine any cancer diagnostics and treatments would be postponed. Obviously, they'll (Cancer healthcare institutions) establish visiting protocols to manage risks...

If you already have a scheduled scan, these have not yet been delayed, however they are holding off on scheduling new patients for the moment. I have a few clients on the list to be scheduled.

I just returned from UCLA for a PSMA scan (got in under trial) on the 19th of March. I arrived on Monday the 16th, two days early so that flights wouldn't get in the way of the procedure. On Tuesday morning they left a VM and cancelled the scan due to manpower. I called back immediately and they were kind enough to accommodate myself and one other patient who had already made the trip. So there are definitely interruptions, but you'll have to contact them to find out the current situation.

Unfortunately, there is no place now to get PSMA treatment. Germany and Australia have both banned travel into/out of the countries. Guess I'll have to wait...….

Yes, got the scan. Now need the treatment. Can't get into Germany or Australia and not able to qualify for any US PSMA treatment trials.

My husband has an appointment there on Apr. 6, and when we inquired on Friday, 3/27, we were told it will “likely” be cancelled.

Hello again. My husband's upcoming scan on 4/6 was cancelled yesterday. We live in GA and were told by our contact at UCLA that they decided to cancel all out of state appointments at this time.

Sun1115: Everyone there is working remotely. Try to teach Pan Thin via e-mail at PThin@mednet.ucla.edu.
