For those of us who's immune system may be somewhat compromised and more susceptible to the Coronavirus, know that I am working on a prevention. I think I have it almost perfected.
It is 2oz of good gin, small splash of vermouth ( optional), poured over ice and stirred not shaken, strain off the ice into a stem glass and add 2 queen olives.

I would add: do this in the privacy of your home, not in a crowd; not on a cruise ship.

I've seen j-o-h-n's ex-wife. It would take a lot more than 2 drinks to make her look good to me. My younger brother asked me if I thought he and wife should cancel next month's trip to Italy. My brotherly advice was yes, and avoid Sacramento. I heard that 80% of our drugs are made in China. Sooooo........? And if we ever have a war with China do most of the sick people just die? Well, I guess most of the healthy people would die too. What a Dr. Strangelove way of solving the overpopulation problem.

Hot toddy recipe. If you are already feeling poorly. 6 oz. Chick-fil-A diet lemonade heated until steaming add 1.5 oz. Bourbon. Sip and enjoy. Repeat if necessary.

Please use safe ice for the mixing ingredient. Guess that means boil the water before freezing. Not really. I used to drink high priced Scotch whiskey, very high priced top of the line 12 or 15 or 18 year old Scotch on my business field trips overseas. One example was in CAIRO Egypt in a Hilton Hotel downtown, the only bad thing about the Scotch drink was the ICE! It was made from Egyptian tap water. Not a good idea. More bugs, I mean bugs in my drink than I ever wanted the look at. Good ice is hard to find in Egypt. Best to drink top of the shelf Scotch ICE-Less.
You might add a flu and pneumonia vaccine to your cocktail. It is supposed to make you less susceptible. 😉

I’m in Belgrade now getting some long overdue affairs taken care of. I am sweating bullets getting it done to escape back to Texas. Not that one is safe or not safe compared to the other. But Would rather have the comfort of my own bed to take the prescribed treatment you suggest

You are right, it is a major concern for those of us under drug treatment, where our bodies are already compromised, damn, I was hoping to get to Florida and then to the pyramids in Eqypt but now must go in to a holding pattern until the brains sort out the germs and give us weapons to ward off yet more beasts trying to ensure our early demise.
