My father got tested for PSMA yesterday and is now feeling pain and heaviness in lower and ribs.Could the test be a possible reason for it?

I doubt it. The amount of radiation used by the tracer is minimal. I never read that bone pain is associated with GA 68 PSMA PET/CT.

The PSMA PET scan may have a slight cancer killing effect - anything that attaches to PSMA impairs its function. Dying cells may release cytokines that cause some pain. The effect is short-lived.

He will need to drink lots of water and if he is able, take a walk and try to move about. My dad had this done and that is what they recommended to help move the excess out of the body.
