Greetings, all. I am looking for suggestions on providers in the Denver area to perform a bone marrow biopsy to "rule out other malignant pathology." In a post of mine entitled "Let's talk lytic lesions" that discussed my consistently low alkaline phosphatase (ALP) despite numerous identified bone lesions, the consensus is that there is enough mystery in these low ALP reads to support a bone marrow biopsy that can give further information about whether my APCa has some neuroendocrine aspect to it or if my bone lesions are something unrelated to my PCa.
As I stated in that post, while I like my MO and cancer center, by design they are a Goodyear or Firestone and not a dealer mechanic, if you take my meaning.
Ideally, I am looking for someone that has direct experience with the biopsy to point me in the right provider direction! Thanks to you all. - Joe M.

You don't need a bone marrow biopsy, which I'm told is painful. An interventional radiologist does this sort of thing. I would think that UC Denver has one.
Anyone with metastatic prostate cancer in this region should take advantage of the expertise at the Urologic Cancer Center at the Anschutz Medical Campus. They are world class.
Though I am a retired Kaiser physician I self referred at one point when Medicare denied a referral.
My MO is at Kaiser but I have an open channel if needed. I am getting excellent care at KP.
He in upper management..19 years ago he was not there yet .. I had KP growing up in not cal .. It was good then ..Take care Sir. Thanks for replying .🕊
