Merry Christmas and a happy new year everyone. I used to walk 3-5 miles a day. Then my feet started hurting and cut back on length of walks. That was in november now my feet are starting to swell in a situation like yesterday cooking the xmas dinner. If i point my toes to put pant on i get incredible burning in my toes. Ive been on lupin 9 years andxtandi for the last 22 months at 1/2 dose. Have many of you experienced this?

hmmm. Happy Holidays, firstly

...and secondly...this sounds like a lot of what I have been calling "neuropathy". I have this almost all of the time. If I do too much stretching my foot...it feels like I am tearing muscles/tendons/etc. If my shoe (which I seldom wear actual shoes) touches my toes it feels like they are super tight and hurt like hell. My feet feel like they are "broken".

... Just getting off them and with them raised in a recliner (or on the bed) helps mine a little. It comes and goes...AT IT'S LEASURE.

I tried Aspercreme and it helped a little, but then I got nervous about having it on my feet because dogs or cats CANNOT ingest it by lick you. If you're in a cool enough climate....putting it on with tall socks might really help.

I know what you mean. I started on Xtandi a month ago and both of my feet became swollen. It was weird because I've never had that wonderful experience. Fortunately, taking diuretic pills have reduced the swelling to almost nothing.

You have to consider the possibility that the problem with your feet is unrelated to Xtandi. Your regular walking may have contributed to lower disc compression in your spine. Have an orthopedist x-ray your spine, or better yet have an MRI to rule out orthopedic causes. The problem with your toes Sounds like sciatic nerve involvement. Only the good orthopedist can determine if any of this is a factor. I have been through this type of evaluation myself and found I had lower back degenerative disc disease.
