Happy Holidays to ALL and to all a good night('s sleep~~8 hours straight without getting up to pee, etc)
"I'm dreaming of a "dry" Christmas...without the pads I now must use". (Sung to White Christmas....LOL)
AND, as the year ends...I am just so truly thankful NOT to have to have a catheter coming out of me. The six weeks I had one were enough to show me how lucky we are when we do not have one. It's been almost 3 months now since my experience with it. I've been peeing on my own every day ! ! ! Alas, there is the leakage issue, but ...as my new expression seems so appropriate here..."WHATEVER".
re. Sleep...been actually getting up only about 2 times a night...so counting the blessings on that part. Other than fatigue and sometimes feeling like someone has taken their aggression out on me with a baseball bat, feeling groovy ! ! !
Life IS Beautiful.

Sorta looks like a vintage 1960s silver foil xmas tree (we've had since 2000)...in our crazy tight and cozy living room....with a pair of dice strategically set on 4 and 3...aka "lucky 7"
my last name is "Gamble". Although I do not really like to gamble...I have collected a few gambling things over the years. I love the idea of rolling 7, though...LOL. I'm still hoping for some (more) Luck as I make this journey!
Happy Holidays to you and your partner, GJ! 🎅 I can’t remember what it feels like to get a “solid 8” sleep wise. I’m a steady 3 times a-nighter even with tamsulosin. But I have yet to have had the “catheter experience.” Hope it will be a long time before I join you in that club. We both should be thankful for the blessings we have. I’ve learned a lot in the past 4 1/2 years, especially to not take anything or anyone for granted. Life is good. Merry Christmas, and best wishes to you in the coming year.
No cath, whoohoo! Glad to hear that..... greatjohn...To pee or not to pee. ? Semi normal is better than all fd up. Happy holidays lucky 7.. Be cool , not too much nog amigo.. although I do like that stuff. Take care🎄🥳
I had a catheter for two weeks following surgery. Then after a while I had a meatal structure which required emergency roaming. Most painful experience ever. Then use dilator for couple months. Now a pad a day for when I dripple while washing dishes with water running. Couldn't do that for my first insurance physical. Now up 2 or 3 times a night.
Happy Happy. It’s the season to be thankful for being alive. I even broke out a bottle of Jameson for the boys last night. First drink in a year or so. Have to say I really enjoyed it. Even if I had to get up twice last night to pee😀😀. May we all live to see another Christmas 🙏🙏🙏❤️
