Ken Burns and television at their best in this 8 part series. Most of us grew up thru this era. Was not quite sure where to post it on our forum. Am assuming that someone will set me straight.
I have been DVR’ing and viewing with great pleasure.

Been watching it and thoroughly enjoying it! Nothing at all to do with APC so a nice distraction too. Makes me want to dust off the guitar and start crooning again
It's a must see that's for sure..In Denver, the next part will air Sunday evening at 7PM...The evolution of popular music in America...Fantastic..
I initially thought I'd at least check it out. But as I watched the first segment, I found that I was really drawn to it. Hard to explain exactly why. So even though I don't think of myself as much of a C&W fan, I watched and enjoyed the other three segments. And I'm eager to watch the remaining segments next week.
Perhaps it is taking us back to a time when life seemed it was less complicated
This is great! True country, not today's mess!
Yes, I need to dust off my guitar and get busy learning "Wildwood Flower".
Old joke but I couldn't resist:
What do you get when you play country music backwards?
You get back your wife, your dog and your truck.
Good Luck, Good Health and Good Humor.
