If it is in a peripheral area, either one may work well. Have you tried shrinking it with chemo?
In the general case with typical ADT and a STEADY low PSA (say under 2 or so), AND an immune system that still has something left in it, these sort of Prostate cancers in the soft tissues (like the prostate itself and lymph nodes) will slowly get taken out of action and become scar tissue. It may take months, but the point is there is no need to cut something out that is going to go away in any case. You give no number of where you are, so we cannot really give you an informed choice. If the call is marginal, you could go onto a strict anti-cancer diet of raw foods and smoothies, and perhaps also boost the natural kill with a few sodium ascorbate via IV drips. But one thing is for sure - you cannot "cut out" any prostate cancer nodule and think you have "got it all" - that wishful thinking went out the window years ago (you just cannot see the other small ones), and your doctors should not lie to you. So on the face of it, if it is not growing at a problematic pace, you could leave it alone.
Keytruda is working for my lung melanoma.......... Ask doc....but I don't think so, but ask anyway...
