Radiation therapy for METS study

I was offered (I don't know yet if they accepted me) this study.

Requires oligometastatic. I only have 2, still small.

The study is to determine the usefulness of radiating small METS early to compare survival time.

My RO here in San Antonio is the principle investigator along with MD Anderson in Houston. They plan to have about 350 participants.

I'll report more if I'm accepted.

Good afternoon and how are you?

Thank you so much for your post.

Would you mind sending me the trial information and who to contact.

I may fit the bill for this trial.

Thank you so much and good health to you. Mike

I’m on a oligo met zapping trial at MDA. Is yours the one where only half the group gets mets zapped? Like mklc I would also like trial info about the one your trying for. Not sure it’s the same as mine. TY

Glad to hear they’re doing a trial . I had oligomets zapped twice ( see profile) and they disappeared but others usually appear if you don’t stay on hormone therapy. I’m hoping that survival is extended by zapping visible mets anyway.
