Malecare is revenge against Prostate Cancer

Twenty one years ago, my father was diagnosed with prostate cancer. I started a local prostate cancer support group to help him out. That group grew to become Malecare. My father died from prostate cancer in 2005. Malecare is my revenge. The Prostate Cancer Patient Conference is part of that revenge. Please meet me at the conference on October 5. Thank you Darryl! My Dad too has prostate cancer and is how I found this site. This site has personally helped me in so many ways. I'm on here daily and constantly learning about this disease thanks to this site and it's members. It helped me feel not alone in this battle. Although I don't post much I feel as if I know a lot of you through the posts. I love this site and it's member. Thank you for all that you do!

My wife mentioned this to me last week. Seeing your post prompted me to register just now. Thanks for organizing this event!

Thanks for all your efforts that makes all this possible Darryl. Speaking for myself, I appreciate it. I hope the conference is a success. Hopefully there are plenty of caregivers and ambulatory PCa that would be interested in attending . For myself, thinking of looking ahead to early October is somehow exciting... but probably a little presumptuous at best. Seems like I forget that I used to do stuff like that all the time, just took it for granted. I’d like to think I’ll still be here by October , and even be in condition to attend a conference ... seems like a long long time from now tho. Yayahaha

Btw: is that avatar new ? Looks great.

Thanks for your kind words. No one knows their fate; I would be a fool to say you will be here in October. But, with the help of your brothers, here, and the good vibes we all are sending, you have many, many more months to enjoy.
