I started Xtandi 17 months ago after it was established I was castrate resistant. My psa then was 3.5. I have had a good reaction to Xtandi, with a clear downward trend. My psa in January this year was 0.04.
I decided a few months ago to add indometacin 25mg twice a day to see if it would drive down the psa further. The last test carried out a week ago was <0.03 which is as low as the hospital can measure. Unfortunately the Indometacin has given me stomach problems so I had to discontinue with them.
As well as the three monthly Lupron I also take Advodart three times a week, daily statin, metaformin 850 twice a day.

I've seen this posted in several places (combining Indomethacin with Xtandi). My husband is on the EMBARK trial and taking Indo is a non-starter for that trial. It was on a list of drugs that would disqualify. Randy used to take Indo occasionally for gout flare-ups. I wonder why it's a disqualifying drug for a study of earlier use of Xtandi, yet it now seems to be (sort of) commonly used with Xtandi.
