Hi All. My partner had RP and is about to start chemo, radio and ADT. He is very keen to get erections in the future and wants to do everything to help make this happen.
He is on daily Cialis and attended the ED nurse today to start his penile rehabilitation. He breezed through the injection part and we came home armed with injections etc.
Has anyone used either/or and any suggestions. He is particularly interested in the Viberect (he will buy the pump) and wants to know if anyone has used it and does it help?
Many Thanks in anticipation.

Anyone on a 2 year Lupron injections every 90 days, which inhibits the male hormone that cancer cells thrive on, has to prepare themselves not only for ED but even more profoundly the loss of sexual DESIRES. Hopefully it'll come back once the Lupron injections end. It comes down to no more sex for a time or death.
I haven't done any penile rehab and 23 years later there is nothing left to my penis. It is a USE IT OR LOSE IT situation. The smooth muscle tissue that engorges with blood to make an erection will atrophy and is gone forever. Three urologists and two oncologists never mentioned penile rehab to me. I only learned about it at a support group meeting a year ago.
It looks like an overpriced 'copy' of something you can buy in the USA for 1/2 the price.
Buyer beware.
I would suggest you look at 'Encore'. They have a version that includes an electronic and manual pump and a ring 'ejector' that works better than most pumps out there.
You can overpay because you might think that you are getting a super duper medical device.
I have used a few pumps to find what works better / best.
Also note that the sex shop' toy pumps are good to experiment with, but the tension ring system(s) are the item that makes the pumps work properly.
It does sound like you are on your way to resolving an issue.
As usual, Scorpio gets directly to the heart of the matter, Filo. The biggest reality check in this journey is not the sexual tech, it's the sexual desire. I'm not saying, in any way, to give up your plans. I find it a great and positive way to fight the situation, frankly, and wish you both luck. Just understand that there will likely be some bumps in the plan...er, no pun intended!
Many thanks everyone for your suggestions. I will pass onto my partner. I agree - the desire is the issue but I tell my patients "just start and the desire may well kick in". I agree about the tech - he needs to investigate more. x
