Twenty two years is really impressive.!!!

You could discuss treatment with Xofigo, Provenge and chemo with cabazitaxel. You could also consider to participate in the clinical trials offering Lu 177 PSMA treatment. There are several clinical trials,

clinicaltrials.gov/ct2/resu...

or you could explore the possibility of getting Lu 177 PSMA/ Ac 225 PSMA treatment in Germany or in Australia.

There are many clinical trials offering treatment with drugs or combination of drugs that could be effective in some patients with castration resitant prostate cancer if the cancer has some specific mutations. Perhaps it could be possible to get a biopsy of one of the metastases and study the genome of your cancer.

Hi. What is the Lu 188 PMSA treatment exactly? My father is kind of running out of options and I’m looking to get him on a clinical trial. He has extended Mets on his bones. Castration-Resistant prostate

Thanks for posting as it gives me hope for my almost 76 yo husband diagnosed ~19 years ago. It's great to have some treatment options left.

You had 22 years with prostate cancer with a PSA score of 89? WOW, how are you still even alive?

That's what I was thinking..what was your PSA at diagnosis...or is 89 the PSA after metastasis? At any rate,,22 years my friend...keep fighting..look forward to 80!

I was Dx 23 years ago PSA 95. Initial treatment EBRT and bracytherapy with 9 months HT. Good 14 years then PSA started to rise. On and off HT since. HT now failing and PCa may be morphing into neuroendocrine cancer. Not good. No mets yet but getting another Axumin scan late May. Still have Provenge and chemo to use. Hoping for many more good years for both of us!

Amazing! Do you mind if I ask what your Gleason score was at diagnosis?

How did you get to 22 years? Supplements, diet, etc? Did you have a long period of remission after primary treatment?

I suspect that you will see 80.

I was diagnosed at more or less the same age. I'm at 15 years & 22 years seems like an impossible target. I have my eye on age 75, though.

I don't want to die of PCa, but the changes I have made reduce my cardiovascular risk. The remaining mortality options don't look that attractive. LOL
