Started this trial DynaMo. Started with lupron zytega prednisone and apolutamide. They did bone sample cores along with marrow samples. Does punching holes in bone increase chance I may get metastasis in them if I don’t so far?

I was told that occasionally a cancerous prostate cell may go into your blood steam. This cell my die off but it has affinity for the outside of healthy bone tissue. It clings to the bone, attaches, over time sinks into the bone, leaves a pock mark (like acne on the face), and if there are androgens present it can subdivide, but usually without androgens present it is stuck there like in a coffin! Over time if there are a lot of cancer cells on the bone, the bone is weakened and drugs for osteoporosis like Xgeva are given to harden up the bone. Bone marrow samples are not going to interfere with this process. Radiation can be used to reduce the bone cancer. So just remember to keep on truckin'.
