Early (localised) prostate cancer is when the cancer has not spread into surrounding tissues or beyond the prostate. T2a is in this category.
Locally advanced is when the cancer has spread beyond the prostate to surrounding tissue or lymph nodes.
Was that GS 3+4 OR GS 4+3? What % of cores were positive? What was your PSA?
Hi Tall_Allan, In reply to your questions, GS 4 + 3, and GS 3 + 4. MRI T2a NO MO
PSA 7.1 % of cores - Not known
My age is 75.
Does this help.
Thanks, Alan
if it metastis its grown if its locally then thats what they say its local. when the 2nd doc from cancer nw felt mine has been local they went ahead and did a bone scan and cat scan. they found a lymph node larger in groin and one smaller. they found a lesion on a rib, lymph node on the aortia arch and thats it. charlie
